Jason has spent the past nine years specializing in providing advisory, audit, and assurance services to not-for-profit entities of many types and sizes, including arts & cultural institutions, colleges & universities, social service entities, and other charitable organizations. Clients count on Jason to provide timely, clear recommendations on an array of technical accounting matters, such as revenue recognition, accounting for investments, split-interest agreements, recording and tracking net assets with donor restrictions, and Uniform Guidance compliance, among others.

He also has a focus on accounting transformation, where he helps clients identify potential areas for improvement by drawing upon his deep and broad experience within the not-for-profit industry. By encouraging organizations to balance efficient operations with effective policies and controls, Jason is able to find solutions that allow not-for-profit organizations to focus on carrying out their mission while meeting changing demands within finance teams.

Prior to his accounting career, Jason spent several years working and teaching in higher education and remains committed to promoting the mission of colleges and universities.
