Sara is a Senior Manager in Cherry Bekaert’s CFO Advisory practice. She has 13 years of experience in FP&A, from leading teams through successful budget and forecast cycles, building and maintaining robust financial models, to regularly providing invaluable insights to executive leadership, supporting company strategy and decision-making. She has worked with clients in retail/e-commerce, SaaS, manufacturing, cannabis, healthcare, and at companies grossing over $1B in revenues and ranging from 20-10,000 employees.
Prior to joining Cherry Bekaert, Sara was the first finance employee at a cannabis and lifestyle brand, where she directly reported to the CEO, stood up their FP&A function, managed contracts and relationships along their supply chain, and executed several successful go-to-market strategies.
Additionally, Sara has extensive experience supporting large-scale data analytics projects, including account reconciliations, designing and automating KPI reporting, and creating business-line and executive dashboards. She is no stranger to partnering closely with business teams to ensure the success of her FP&A initiatives while understanding the intricacies and challenges as companies begin to scale rapidly.
