Join us for a discussion on the core mechanics of the New Markets Tax Credit program and the trends that are being seen in specific QALICB types. This one-hour, CPE-eligible session begins with a refresher on key NMTC concepts, followed by a more in-depth discussion of how the Manufacturing and Non-Profit sectors are using NMTCs to support their investments, as well as a review of the newest trends and topics happening in the NMTC industry.

This session will highlight practical considerations related to capital stack coordination, stakeholder alignment, and moving projects toward closing. NMTC professionals will discuss how to best position your Manufacturing and Non-Profit transactions to attract NMTC allocation and the structures that are typically used. Finally, there will be a review of the newest priorities expressed by the CDFI Fund.

Join us for a discussion on community development finance program applications, with a focus on how NMTC allocation, State NMTC, and CDFI Financial Assistance (FA) and Technical Assistance (TA) Grant applications reflect organizational strategy and evolving program requirements. This one-hour, CPE-eligible session examines key elements of application preparation and alignment across these programs.

This session will cover foundational components organizations should establish prior to application development, aligning narrative content and data with federal and state program guidance, and considerations related to allocation and capital deployment, capacity building, and ongoing program compliance. The discussion will also address common challenges and areas frequently reviewed during the evaluation process for NMTC, State NMTC, and CDFI Fund grant applications.
